Yellowstone National Park


 Yellowstone National Park is ubicated in the EE.UU, in the state of Wyoming. It is the first national park in the country, and it is also considered the oldest national park in the world.

It is famous for its diversity in fauna, benefited by the prohibition of hunting during the last 150 years.

Although it has multiple ecosystems, it dominates the Subalpine forest. It extends over an area of 8983km. It includes lakes, canyons, rivers and mountain ranges.

Yellowstone lake is the largest mountain lake in North America and in its southern half is the Yellowstone volcano, which is the largest volcano in the continent.

Hundreds of species of mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles have been documented, including many in danger of extinction. Yellowstone is the largest place with the most famous fauna in the continental EE.UU. grizzly bears, wolves, herds of bison, and elks roam freely and live in the park.

The vast forests are grasslands, also include unique plant species such us the Tennesse Coneflower or the Flori Koki'o, and there are over 1500 varieties of native plants in the Yellowstone ecosystem.
