The advanges and disadvantages of a boarding school

Many people live in boardings schools. The activities and the type of boarding depends on the country.

I have never been to a boarding school but I know that the students study and live there without their parents. So I think that they miss them because they only can visit them on holidays. It is also too expensive because their parents have to pay all the food, their education, their room...

It depends on the country but in these schools there are a lot of activities to do in their free time such as: theatre, music, sports, horse riding... The sports are very important because they usually compete with other schools. In some schools students sleep in the same room with students from other countries so they have to communicate using another language.

In conclusion, boarding schools are too expensive and you can´t see your parents but it is an opportunity to make friends, be independent and do a lot of activities.
